I have 28 years of experience in leadership positions in informal education, community outreach, teaching and counselling. I have done so with teen, university students, young professional and couples. I have lectured and run innovative programs in communities and university campuses in Canada, Australia, South Africa, England and Israel. My most recent position, before coming back to the US, was in Cape Town, South Africa where my wife and I were the Rabbinic couple in an outreach community.
I’ve been featured on the BBC WorldService, The Breakfast Show, Jerusalem Report and the Boston Globe. My next goal is a Ted Talk.
I hold a BA in Psychology and a post-graduate certificate in Adolescent Mental Health from the Tavistock Clinic in London.
I enjoy public speaking, playing and performing music, as well as sports and exercise that don’t involve any degree of pain or exertion.
My wife and I are blessed with 4 married children.
And four not yet married.
We currently live in Baltimore, MD.
But I can be ‘virtually’ anywhere.
And I too sit at least once a week with my mentor so that she can help me through my moment. And yes, over a coffee. 🙂
I look forward to connecting with you.
